Motion Graphics Designer – Localisation

We are looking for an experienced Motion Graphics Designer to join our Creative Services team, supporting high-profile entertainment and media localisation projects for global streaming platforms, broadcasters, and major international brands.

This role combines motion graphics, graphic design, localisation adaptation, and production expertise. You will create and adapt visual assets for multilingual content across both static and video-based media, including title treatments, key art, box art, subtitles, promotional graphics, and motion-based deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have strong After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite skills, excellent typography and layout ability, and experience working within fast-paced media or post-production environments. Experience working with multilingual content, localisation workflows, or broadcast/media graphics is highly desirable.

This is a highly collaborative role working closely with project management, production teams, freelancers, and clients globally. Alongside hands-on design and animation work, you will help maintain creative quality standards, improve workflows, and support scalable production processes across the department.

This is a fully remote role for someone based in South America, working to a timetable of 15:00 to 00:30 BST/ 11:00 to 20:30 BRT (São Paulo/Brasília time)

About the role: 

  • Creating localisation graphics to client spec, such as Key Art, Box Art, Title Treatment for various promo and long-form work
  • Carrying out quality checks on freelancer’s graphics work and providing feedback and guidance where necessary via calls or emails to ensure deliverables meet client expectations
  • Providing accurate estimates to the project management teams for quoting purposes on effort required for Creative Services work
  • Ensuring Key Performance Indicators are met in terms of delivery on time and within budget, and highlighting to the relevant PM any risk of these not being met
  • Working on multiple production phases while adhering to creative direction, technical specifications, brand identity and meeting tight deadlines
  • Checking and approving creative/production materials, layouts and production art, and coordinate client approval, where appropriate
  • Providing creative support and inspiration to the business at large, and championing and fostering creativity across the company, whilst ensuring consistent creative standards and approaches
  • Delivering operational and scale efficiencies whilst maintaining a focus on quality.  For example, suggesting new methods of production, working practices, improving workflows within the company or automating processes where possible
  • Creating and maintaining documentation on processes within Creative Services
  • Investigating and reporting findings of all customer complaints, as well as monitoring technical rejections from suppliers and address them with appropriate parties
  • Preparing designs/artwork for the business as required. This could include business cards, studio door signs/window decal, wall art, floor plans etc
  • Creating showreels for prospective clients and studio walkthroughs and assist with notes/slides for RFPs
  • Covering in the Creative Services Manager’s absence, including managing the workload for the department, scheduling and advising on where to place work (in-house or outsourcing)

Essential Skills and Experience

Below are the skills and experience we’re looking for, spanning motion graphics, design, and artwork for both static and dynamic GFX:

  • 5+ years’ experience in motion graphics, creative production, or video design
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong motion graphics, typography, graphic design, and video editing skills
  • Solid understanding of video/audio formats, codecs, and production workflows
  • Experience creating client-ready assets within fast-paced production environments and tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong quality control and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with multilingual content and non-Latin fonts (e.g. Arabic, Hebrew, Indic languages)
  • Strong understanding of localisation, media adaptation, or broadcast workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across production, freelancers, clients, and internal teams
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and highly organised, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Passion for creativity, innovation, and improving workflows/processes

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Cinema 4D, Element 3D, Maxon, or Video Copilot plug-ins
  • Art direction or creative review experience
  • Experience managing creative production workflows or freelance creative teams
